Gentlemen’s Blues Club
Bassist Mick Stover, one time member of Legendary Californian Blues Rockers BB Chung King & The Buddaheads, along with long time Friend/Band Mate & Songwriter “Dirty” Dave Osti, have brought about the birth of one of the best Blues Rock bands around for a long, long time, enlisting the help of some very high profile friends inc Phillip Sayce, Alan Miritikani, Teddy ZigZag & Frank Simes among others
These guys have seriously got "The Blues" & have made two really smoking albums. This is Contemporary Blues Rock but you also get a sense of being transported back to a time when albums had two sides & real music was played on the radio.
Having just released their 2nd album, Volume II - Longhorn Honeymoon, GBC have created another Blues Rock masterpiece with a soulful groove. This is actually a notch up on Volume 1 - Shotgun Wedding, if that is possible. If you want your Ass Kickin’, Blues Rock style then both GBC albums are a must.
After receiving Volume II, I just couldn’t stop playing it, it never left my CD Drawer for the whole week and has now joined Volume I on constant rotation on Rebel Rock n Blues.
